Wagyu | Butcher's Bundle
The Wagyu breed of cattle originates exclusively from Japan.
Wagyu literally means “Japanese cattle”. The Wagyu beef produced on our farm is produced from a cross with a pure bred Angus cow and an Akaushi bull (Red Wagyu breed) This cross breeding allows us to maximize the benefits of the two best cattle breeds.
The resulting meat is very tender, juicy, and is highly marbled. Marbling is the white specs of fat deposited throughout the meat.The texture is silkier like hot fudge with a little taste of sweet butter. The recommended cooking for Wagyu meat is to sear and grill no more than medium-rare, without added butter or oil and be careful not to burn it.
